The Balls of Alban
The decapitated head of King Æthelburht of East Anglia spits out a story thermal-printed onto a receipt roll that descends into a bucket of opaque liquid. The stained roll is retrieved and the narrator's third-century game of homeopathic strip poker with Saint Alban, the British protomartyr, is read.
